Four free-shape fire opals totalling 19.59 ct form these earrings in 18k rose gold. Each stone retains its individual outline, allowing the composition to develop around the gemstones rather than forcing them into identical shapes.
Their warm orange colour is continued through the rose gold setting, while 40 brilliant-cut diamonds totalling 0.25 ct introduce small points of light around the opals.
The result is a pair held together by colour, proportion and balance rather than perfect symmetry.
