Two Mexican fire opal briolettes totalling 29.49 ct form the centre of these earrings in 18k rose gold.
Their elongated briolette cuts give the fire opals movement and allow the stones to be seen from different angles. Around them, 96 round Mandarin garnets totalling 2.26 ct introduce a second, more concentrated expression of orange.
Rather than creating contrast through colour, the composition explores variations within it — different stones, different cuts and different intensities held within the same palette.
Rose gold continues the warmth of the gemstones without competing with them.
