The LEYSER Rainbow Collier is one of the atelier’s signature creations — a composition of coloured gemstones arranged as a continuous spectrum around the neck.
Its defining feature is the sertissage invisible, or invisible setting. Rather than being separated by visible claws or metal, the precisely cut gemstones are secured from beneath, allowing colour to flow almost uninterrupted from one stone to the next.
Achieving that continuity begins long before setting. Each gemstone must be selected for colour and proportion, then individually cut to fit both its neighbouring stones and the architecture of the collier.
The result is a piece in which considerable technical complexity becomes almost invisible.
