No need for perfect symmetry.
At the centre of El Bombón is a 4.65 ct Mexican fire opal, cut in an individual free-shape form.
Rather than imposing a conventional geometry on the stone, the cut allows its own outline and vivid orange colour to define the composition.
The warmth of 18k rose gold continues the colour of the opal, while 0.15 ct of brilliant-cut diamonds introduce restrained points of contrasting light.
The result is deliberately asymmetric: one stone, one shape, and a design that follows both.
